If you like the idea of a career in management, working in health offers unrivalled opportunity and variety, with many exciting and diverse management positions across Frimley Health. Management is key to our continued success and plays a crucial part in ensuring that our services work as efficiently as possible.

As well as wonderful management opportunities, we have a wide range of leadership and management programmes. The Trust runs many bespoke, in-house training courses, but also works with the NHS Leadership Academy, whose philosophy is that great leadership development improves leadership behaviours and skills, which has a direct link to better patient care, experience and outcomes.

Roles in administration include administrative assistants, medical secretaries and ward clerks. We have opportunities within finance, human resources, digital services (IT), communications and strategy, to name a few.

For any administration role you need a good standard of literacy and numeracy. The Trust usually ask for GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths. IT skills and qualifications are useful too.  You’ll be using your skills in time management, organisation and communication in any administration role, and will need excellent customer service skills for interacting with patients or members of the public.

There is plenty of opportunity to further your qualifications and career. With roles ranging from entry level, training posts and apprenticeships to senior management and directors, there is bound to be something for you!
